Browser Settings

The following example is for Internet Explorer.

1. Cookie Management
In Internet Explorer click on Tools, and open Internet Options.

Click on the Privacy tab to view and adjust cookie permissions.

Click on the Edit button. Settings for domains that are always to be allowed to give cookies, as well as those that are always to be blocked are stored here. You can add and remove domains, or change previously set permissions at any time.

If bellspalsy.ws shows in the window, click on it (so it is highlighted, as shown below). Click on 'Allow', and check to make sure the setting reads 'Always Allow'. If bellspalsy.ws did not appear in the window, type it in the field under 'Address of Web site', and click on 'Allow'.

Confirm the entry by clicking on the 'okay' button, and again when Windows take you back to 'Internet Options'. You may need to restart your browser for the new setting to take effect.

Occasionally the cookie cache must be emptied before the change can take effect. Additional information on this is available in the FAQs.

2. Java
In Internet Explorer Tools, open Internet Options.
Click on the Security tab, and scroll down to 'Microsoft VM' to verify that Java permission is set to medium (preferred) or low.

Other Browsers
The Forums are viewed well with most browsers at most resolutions. We are aware of problems with two browsers:

Netscape v4.x: If you are using older versions of Netscape you might have some issues viewing the forums. Netscape has finally incorporated support for some standard coding and tags in their newest release, so this is easily resolved by upgrading to version 7.x. Download Nescape v7.1 here.

MSN TV aka WebTV: Because a television handles resolution and color differently than a computer monitor, Web pages may appear quite different than the same pages would appear on a monitor.
