GETTING STARTED AT THE FORUMS

Only registered members can view the Forums. Unregistered guest access is limited to the "Q & A Zone", where you may post questions about registration or navigation. The forums can't be viewed without registering, and guests can not post about Bell's palsy.

Registration
1. Follow the 'Please register' link on the Lobby navigation bar.



2. When you click on the 'Please Register link, you will be directed to the Forum Policies page. After accepting the terms of use you will automatically be taken to the Registration window.
3. Enter your Username, name and email address. A password will be issued and sent to the email address provided in the registration form, so you must use a valid email address.

First Login

The forum address is http://forum.bellspalsy.ws, and the login button is on the upper left of the screen. Click on 'Login'. You will then enter your Username and the password that was sent to you. Passwords are case sensitive and must be entered EXACTLY as they appear on the email you received. Your best bet is to copy it from the email and paste it into the login window. The first time you login you will be routed to the 'User Login Form' to set your profile and basic preferences. Profile and personal preferences can be revised at any time. Only basic options are set during first login... We suggest you return to the User Menu to further customise your preferences. After setting your profile and preferences you will be returned to the main Lobby with full access to the forums. The default setting for message views is all messages posted during the last month. We strongly suggest you return to your User Menu and change the setting to 'all available topics'.

Registration, Login or Navigation Issues
If you encounter a problem logging in or navigating, or have a question about using the Forum features, do not send your inquiry by email - post the question in the "Q & A Zone". Please read the FAQs first! and include all the information we need to assist you (see next paragraph).

When posting in "Q & A", include the following information if your question concerns a registration or login issue:
1. A clear description of the problem (describe the steps taken that led to the error).
2. Your Username.
3. An EXACT description of the error received (do not paraphrase).
4. Your operating system (WinXP, Win98, etc.), browser (IE6.0, Netscape 7, etc.), firewall or other security programs (i.e. ZoneAlarm, Norton).
